Upper Limb Orthopaedic

Mr Stephen Lipscombe’s surgical practice includes traumatic injuries to the upper limb and elective hand/wrist surgery including nerve disorders (carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve procedures), ganglion and cyst excision, degenerative and rheumatoid disorders (small joint and wrist fusion) joint replacement (base of thumb, finger joints, and wrist replacement), Dupuytren’s disease (collagenase injection, fasciectomy, and skin grafting), and minimally invasive wrist arthroscopy procedures.

Lower Limb Orthopaedic

We are experienced in the management and treatment of bone, muscle and joint conditions, as well as physiotherapy to relieve pain and improve mobility.

Professor Nikhil Pradhan is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in surgery of the hip, knee, foot and ankle. His elective practice is exclusively in lower limb surgery and knee arthroplasty. I offer a range of implants for hip and knee replacement including small incision hip and knee surgery and unicompartmental knee replacement.

Mr Curtis Robb specialises in all treatments of the knee. Offering both non-surgical and surgical management options for all knee conditions, surgical techniques encompass knee joint preservation and replacement surgery. Non-surgical techniques include tailoring a programme of physiotherapy and strength and conditioning for each individual patient.

Gastroenterology

Dr Subramaniam Ramakrishnan has been practising as a consultant gastroenterologist since 2007 and have a specialist interest in all aspects of endoscopy, gastroenterology, liver and pancreatic disease. Dr Ramakrishnan pride himself in being very open with patients and is keen to promote a patient centred approach to managing their illness.

Urology

Urology is the area of healthcare that covers complaints of the urinary tract, along with the reproductive systems of men.

Mr Paul Jamieson is an expert in all aspects of scrotal surgery and has a large amount of experience in all aspects of urological conditions. His areas of specialism and specific interests are: kidney stones – offering a full range of treatments, vasectomy reversal and assessment and treatment of recurrent urinary tract infections in women. Mr Jamieson has been a consultant urological surgeon for over 15 years.

Vascular

Vein surgery (or vascular surgery) deals with the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting your circulatory system, including your arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels.

Mr Tom Nicholas trained as a general surgeon and specialised in vascular surgery. His special interests are in endovenous and endovascular techniques in the management of vascular pathology.

My special areas of expertise are vascular surgery including modern techniques of varicose vein treatment, wound management and management of diabetic foot.
