To put it simply, I am incapable of sitting down. I am also pretty loud (apparently) and always up for learning something new.
I have played hockey since I was 7 years old, and now play for Winnington park Hockey Club Ladies 1s team, as well as being a part of the committee as their social media secretary and supporting with junior coaching.
I regularly test myself with a cheeky race (I only do it for the medals), from 10Ks to Triathlons and even a marathon, with my second one coming up in October. Triathlon was an excellent, and expensive discovery for me and now consumes every non working minute of my life – but at least as a RIDE instructor, I can get some good bike training in.
Not to sound cliche, but I have always been an active person, keen to try any sport at least once from an early age, but it wasn’t until 2024 when I was working over 40hours a week from home for a marketing agency, losing my mind staring at a screen all day, I knew I needed a change. It was then I chose to sign up to do up to do my Level 2, 3 and 4 as a PT (which I am very much still working on completing), and train as a Indoor Cycling Instructor and Sports Massage Therapist.
I now have the privilege of working next door on the Enigma Holdings Group Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Account Manager Monday – Thursday, working with all the great group businesses, and on Fridays I do my PT Study’s.
Now RIDE for me is something I absolutely love, the energy, the power, the hardcore workout and the vibes just bring me so much joy, I just knew it was something I had to get involved on.

I really like the community aspect of Instinct, and the relationships and growth I have seen at instinct is truly inspiring. I’m looking forward to getting to know the ELEVATE riders, and bringing a new energy to my classes – so I hope you are up for an eclectic mix of music, some cheesy choreography and some sweaty sessions!
For me, this is a loaded question, I really couldn’t put one exercise on a pedestal, hence how I landed on the most indecisive sport, Triathlon. But if I had to pick a gym based exercise, I’d have to say skull crushers are my favourite.
Although, this one is easy… I HATE wall balls, and equally hate burpees.
I am driven by my love to learn and develop – as well as being able to make 16 year old Lily proud.
‘Where’s your head at?’ Basement Jaxx, I know it’s a song, but I have chosen this for 2 seasons, it’s a CRACKING RIDE tune, and it has pulled me out of many dark pits mid race as I sing it to myself to get through.
It would have to be Pizza, or a large share pack of sweets to myself.

Get started with Instinct in Tarporley.
